Ccleaner (or crap cleaner), is one of the many cleaning and optimization tools for your system. Like it's name, it cleans unused files, temporary files, and files recently on the Recycle Bin. In can also remove traces of your online activities, such as temporary internet files, history, cookies, recently typed URLs, index.dat files, and last download location. By doing so, you can optimize your system by making in faster and also free your disk space. Of course you can choose not to remove these files simply by unchecking the checkbox associated with each selection.
This freeware also includes additional features such as Registry Cleaner and Uninstalling tool. It's considered fast in it's usage and does not consume much memory. Another advantage is that it's Spyware and Adware-free, so you don't have to worry about viruses coming into your system from this software.
